For many years the farmers markets of Newcastle have been at the heart of what we do.
They are where we meet our customers, share our passion for Thai food and spend time talking about the flavours, aromas and techniques that make Thai cuisine so special.
While many people visit us for our hot market favourites like our famous Satay Cups or Mango Sticky Rice, the real heart of what we do at the markets is introducing people to our handcrafted take-home packs.
Customers can taste our soups, curries and sauces while Peter explains how traditional Thai flavour balance works — for example how Green Curry sits at the front of the palate with bright crisp fresh flavours, while Panang Curry develops deeper flavours towards the back of the palate.
These conversations are one of the things we love most about the markets.
People often arrive curious about Thai food and leave confident they can recreate beautiful Thai dishes at home using our range of curries, soups, sauces, dressings and entrées.
The markets are much more than just a place to sell food — they are a community of growers, makers and passionate food lovers.
It’s where friendships are made, stories are shared and great food is discovered.
We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Newcastle market community and thank everyone who continues to support local small businesses like ours.
